R.T. serves as CEO of Century Natural Resources, LLC and served as the CFO previously. Prior to Century, R.T. was a Director at Wood Mackenzie. At the firm, he supported commodities research and contributed to valuation and due-diligence work that accounted for billions of dollars in transactions. Before joining Wood Mackenzie, he founded the mineral investment company Carthage Resources. R.T. earned his BS in accounting and MS in finance from Texas A&M University. He also serves on the advisory board for the Professional Program in Accounting at Texas A&M University.

Robert “Bobby” Long, CFO

Robert Long is the Chief Financial Officer of Century Natural Resources, LLC and has 23 years of financial experience in management, corporate finance and principal investing in the energy industry. Through his role at Century, Mr. Long manages all accounting, finance and commercial functions to four oil and gas companies operating in the Powder River Basin. Mr. Long joined Century in February 2022 after spending three years as Chief Financial Officer of Navigation Petroleum, LLC which managed assets held within Navigation Powder River, LLC.

Prior to his current role, Mr. Long was a Partner at Rivington Holdings, LLC, a boutique merchant and investment bank focused in the middle market energy sector. While at Rivington, he sourced and executed both advisory and principal investment transactions in the upstream and midstream sector. This role included sourcing opportunities through Rivington’s joint venture with GSO Capital Partners between 2015 – 2018. Mr. Long has also held various energy finance roles at JP Morgan, BNP Paribas and CIBC Capital Markets. Mr. Long holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Texas at Austin.

Ryan Leachman, VP Operations

Ryan Leachman is the VP of Operations for Century Natural Resources, LLC . Ryan has experience in engineering/operations/management of drilling, completions, production, and facilities in both conventional and unconventional assets for multiple oil and gas exploration and production companies including Anadarko Petroleum and Parsley Energy. Ryan has a BS in Petroleum Engineering from Montana Tech as well as a Petroleum Engineering Technology Diploma from NAIT. Ryan is from a small oilfield/farming community in Alberta, Canada and is now a proud resident of Big Horn, Wyoming.
